On Saturday night, few of my school mates suggest to go to night show for the film "Seval". The review we heard doesn't attractive but one of them felt real boredom to go home early, so we went to the film to take a risk. With creative comments flowing around, a bad film with a good(humourous) bunch of friends adds more entertainment to it.
On Sunday, i supposed to spend the whole day with my school mates. The day starts with a 8 over cricket match at 8'o clock (sounds rhyming ;) ) and played till 11:30, we played two matches continously and lost both :(. Its been a long time since i have played cricket, but managed to play an anchor role to be the highest scorer during chase of the second match and a little worried on losing the match so close. But the recognition from the opponent for my game and the applauds from my friends for my down-the-track shots makes my day very much enjoyable (now-a-days its once in a blue moon you see). This is the first time i'm playing with my specs on.
In the afternoon we went to one of my friend's home for Virundhu, who is married last week. Had a good lunch together. And its always surprising to realize the togetherness of my school mates, since nearly more than 30 of us are still in close touch which is indeed a rare bunch.
In the evening we went to another friend's home to give an early presence for the next day function("Seemandham"). And we just recalled a lot of happenings of our school days to the couple. Asusual the mischievous behaviour in the examination hall and the punishments we received from the teachers were the most talked during the hour. But still seems like a fresh joke. It seems like he told everything about our school life to his spouse, as she too involved to recall some incidence we missed to talk about, which indeed adds a good humour.
After lot of visits i came back home to prepare myself for returning to chennai, this weekend indeed one of my busiest.
