Rented a House

All set to rent a house in Madipakkam, paid the token advance on Saturday Morning. Its a double bedroom flat (ground floor) at Sadasivam nagar. I have chosen to relocate myself to madipakkam for the sake of convenient rent. I may probably have to pay 3-4k more for the same type of house if it is in velachery, and its not too far though, hardly takes 10min max to reach by bike from vijayanagar bus stop. I have given up my interest to stay nearby to office which seems to be very difficult with my budget constraints.

I should have to thank Venkataramanan(one of my colleague at AdventNet) for informing me about this rental proposal, who is currently staying over there and will be vacating by this month end.

In Velachery, renting a house is a big drama, there are too many hussles to reach the target. Brokers are having real fun in proposing the rent/advance, along with that they also say that they can negotiate with the owner regarding rent or advance. I also end up with some brokers who were house-wives doing House-Broking as part-time business, most of them are between 45-55 of age and making revenue with their usual gossiping nature( by which they get informed about the area status). One big problem with brokers is that they push us too much with some nice words about the house as well as owner to choose the currently visiting house. If All-marketers-are-liars then All-Brokers-are-damn-liars, they will keep insisting on their hyphe about the damn bad house which we are currently looking at, which will seem alike that they wont consider the man who is visiting has any intelligence.

Few of the house owners till interested in knowing the caste as one of their priority, and my reply to all of them is a simple "No, i won't encourage any communal spirit and if you have any, please ignore me". And this may turn out to be a harsh response i believe, since most of them feels like dumb and finding themselves difficult to react once get this response(i have to learn yet another polite way to say no). At once they will immediately bounce back to a convincing tone to show alike they asked just like that which is of not in their priority list. Though the question is quite usual but couldn't resist the tone at which they are asking about community related queries, which is cowardish as well as irritating one indeed, it reveals that they know they are about to ask an evil spirited query which is of utterly useless information.

The rent is double that of the rent i'm currently paying, so need to cutshort few more expenses that i'm currently enjoying as part of low rent payer.

Thought of bringing my brother and one of my friend to accompany me.
