Today, it was a great learning experience from my brothers kid, she is just 2 years old. Her name is Yogitha and we used to call her Yogi. She used to come to our home on sunday morning and leave in the evening. One thing she inspires me mostly is the way she organizes herself. That too, when she is getting ready to go to her home, the way she checks her package is really amazing. She seems like keeping a checklist on her mind and checks every other things that she took along with her. She also claims and asks for explanation if something is missing. That is really a great and astounding Self-Organizing skill that one can expect from a 2yr old kid.
And this is the very much lacking thing in me, I used to get the assistance of the entire family when i'm getting ready, even then i miss something most of the weeks. Things that i used to miss most probably be Shorts, Cellphone, Charger(camera, cellphone or laptop), even i have forget my laptop one time. And if i didn't forget anything then that is something great i have achieved.
On seeing this, i cant resist cracking a joke comparing me with her, and the overwhelming response seems like everybody in my family unanimously agreeing, that really says how i tortured them and how messy i'm when preparing myself to return to chennai.
So, i thought of implementing "Yogi's formula" to keep myself more organized atleast when preparing myself for a trip.
Wow!!! kids are the great learning resource if you listen to them. Don't dominate them for the sake of being elder, just observe and you have so many things to learn for your eternal & enlightened life.
